"We started by asking what's wrong with the world and we ended up discovering what's right with it." - Tom Shadyak, director of I Am.

I AM is a documentary about Tom Shadyak's quest for the answers to his questions about life.  The film, which is totally narrated by Shadyak, starts out showing a generic mental hospital to introduce the subject of mental illness.  It immediately changes to the story of Shadyak's mountain bike accident where he suffered a broken wrist and concussion.  The concus...

I had expectations of seeing the spiritual development of the subject of the documentary, Stan, who markets himself as "Stanless Steel" the strongest man in the world at bending steel and metal.  And at first those expectations were met.  Stan is very concerned with eating and living well.  He is extremely self-reflective and strive...

An expose on the game the media plays.

I had another great opportunity to attend a first screening of a documentary on a cross-country tour.  It looks like the University of Arizona in Tucson is a great place for first screenings.  I had no idea the place would be packed for this documentary about a 14-year-old boy, Austin Visschedyk, who became a successful paparazzo.  But it turned out that the director of this film is Adrien Grenier, the star of the HBO TV series, Entourage.  And he was att...

WAKE UP - The story of a guy who woke up psychic.

Posted by Jean Jessup on Sunday, February 13, 2011,

An important movie for those suddenly finding themselves opening to the spiritual realm.

I attended a world premiere showing of Wake Up at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  No, this is not a conspiracy theory movie.  It's a documentary about a guy, Jonas Elrod, who wakes up one morning and sees all kinds of spirits and entities and can hear people's thoughts.  He's not the kind of guy who was into spirituality before, so he was very freaked out about suddenly experiencing the "unseen" worl...

“Sirius” is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer – an Emergency Medicine doctor turned UFO/ New Energy researcher – as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experiences with UFOs and with the cover-up.

In the course of his research Dr. Greer is asked to look at an amazing find: a humanoid specimen, 6 inches long from the Atacama Desert. Not until 2012 was he given permission to take bone samples and DNA from the specimen. At that same time a pre-eminent geneticist, hearing of this find, offered to do DNA testing. He enlisted an MD from the same university,- world renowned for his work with skeletal anomalies, to view the x-rays and CT scans. Their expertise along with Dr. Greer’s expansive knowledge of the subject bring more questions than answers. Where did this “Atacama Humanoid” come from? Are there others like it? What does it say about the origin of the human species?

While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.
